Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin, an American mental health advocate and comedian-writer on YouTube, is a journalist. Her former post for BuzzFeed Video was that of writer. However, in 2015 she left to join fellow writer Gabe Dunn on their Just Between Us comedy YouTube channel. Raskin was born June 20, 1989, in Manhattan, New York to an ethnically Jewish family. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California. Jamin Ben Raskin (born December 13, 1962) is a prominent American attorney law professor and politician serving as representative for the U.S. representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district from 2017. Law professor was the head of the prosecution team during the second impeachment trial. Rep. Jamie Raskin has made the decision not to contest Maryland's open Senate seat, but instead seek reelection to the House which he plans to be the chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. The 8th District is near Washington, D.C., taking in some of its wealthiest suburbs, such as Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Potomac. Rockville is the largest of these communities.
